Joffre Lakes
Joffre Lakes Provincial Park is approximately one hour north of Whistler. Take Highway 99 north through Pemberton, and turn right on Lillooet Lake Road until you reach the parking lot at Joffre Lakes. The trail to Lower Joffre Lake is a short, easy walk; however the trek to Middle and Upper Joffre Lakes is a fairly rough and steep 5 kilometre route. At Middle Joffre Lake, you will be rewarded with views of the prisine turquoise waters and sub-alpine forest. Upper Joffre Lake is the largest and most stunning of the three lakes, beneath the Matier Glacier.
Joffre Lakes Provincial Park allows dogs on leash only.
