Garibaldi Provincial Park
Garibaldi Provincial Park is a 194 650 hectare area that is a favourite year round destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Offering over 90 kilometres of established hiking trails, the park has five access points along Highway 99 between Squamish and Pemberton. The Singing Pass trailhead can be accessed from the Whistler Blackcomb ski areas. The Wedgemount Lake access point is located 13 kilometres north of Whistler; while the Cheakamus Lake, Black Tusk and Diamond Head access points are 2.5, 19, and 68 kilometres south respectively. Garibaldi Park also has several granite alpine climbing locations. Diamond Head is the main area of winter recreation in the park, offering skiing, boarding and snowshoeing opportunities.
