Florence Petersen Park

Florence Petersen Park is located off Main Street behind the Whistler Museum. Named in memory of Florence Petersen, who was a Whistler pioneer and founder of the Whistler Museum and Archives, the park features interpretive signage and an original Red Chair from Whistler's first chairlift. One of the best picnic lunch spots in the Village, the park has picnic tables, groomed lawns and wide walkways. The brick path through the park takes you on a stroll through the heart of Whistler with a water feature and public art pieces.
