Squamish Estuary
The trail system through the estuary can be accessed from within Squamish starting at the corner of Vancouver Street and Second Avenue. From this point, it is only a 10-15 minute walk to the beginning of the estuary, and there are signposts marking the trailhead.. The Squamish Estuary provides amazing bird watching opportunities for Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, Golden-Crowned Kinglets and many others. While winding through reeds and over streams, visitors will also enjoy some of the best views of the Stawamus Chief and the thundering Shannon Falls available.
