Squamish Heritage Walking Tour
The Squamish Historical Society has created a self-guided historical walking tour for locals and visitors to enjoy. In partnership with the Downtown Business Improvement Association, Squamish 2014, Tourism Squamish, Squamish Days and the Squamish Farmers Market, a map of the tour has been installed downtown at the corner of Cleveland Avenue and Winnipeg Street to encourage everyone, young and old, to Celebrate Squamish Milestone’s. The map outlines a walking tour dotted with informational storefront plaques around the downtown core. Each plaque shows an archival Squamish image and is accompanied by a historical write up about the photo and its location.
