Grouse Mountain
Known as both a resort and an attraction, Grouse Mountain is a popular North Vancouver year-round mountain playground. There’s no better view of Vancouver’s North Shore and the city of Vancouver than the one you’ll see from the famous Grouse Mountain Skyride, an aerial tram that ferries visitors up the mountain 365 days a year.
Summer
Once you arrive at the Peak Chalet, mountain ziplines and hiking trails offer unforgettable sightseeing and adventure. For more incredible views, visit the Eye of the Wind, a wind turbine with a one-of-a-kind panoramic viewPOD at the top of the tower for 360-degree views of the Lower Mainland.
Be sure to stop by and visit the resident grizzly bears, Grinder and Coola, in their wilderness sanctuary. Ranger talks and interpretive programs also included with your admission ticket.
Ready to push your limits? Mountain Ropes Adventure offers four different aerial ropes courses varying in level of difficulty.
Winter
With 33 ski and snowboard runs, 15 night runs, 4 chairlifts, 6 terrain parks, 9 km of snowshoe trails and the North Shore's most extensive snowmaking system, Grouse Mountain is the City's playground, right here in your own backyard.
Looking for more ways to experience winter? Grouse Mountain's Peak is jam-packed with activities including an 8 000 square foot ice skating pond, enchanting Light Walk, adrenaline-pumping mountain ziplines, the inspiring Eye of the Wind, family-friendly Sliding Zone, mountaintop dining and more.
In December, Grouse Mountain is transformed into Vancouver's North Pole where you can have breakfast with Santa, visit his workshop, meet Santa's reindeer and much more.
