Village Lift Access

Creekside Gondola

Catch the Creekside Gondola in Creekside, located four kilometers south of Whistler Village, to access Whistler Mountain for skiing in winter, and mountain biking in summer. The Creekside gondola seats six, and rises to Raven’s Nest, where skiers can load the Big Red Express quad chair to ascend to Whistler’s Roundhouse Lodge and alpine ski areas. A free, underground and over-height parking lot is available for day-parking, with a short, two minute walk to the gondola.

Excalibur Gondola

The Blackcomb Excalibur Gondola, Lower is an 8-seat cabin accessed at the base of Whistler Mountain. The Excalibur travels up to Base 2 on Blackcomb Mountain, before proceeding into the alpine. The Excaliber Gondola, Upper takes skiers up to 1330 m (3,707 ft), where they can access the Excelerator Express and then the Jersey Cream Express open air lifts to reach the Rendezvous Lodge on Blackcomb at 1860 m (6102 ft.) Free parking lots 6 to 8 can be accessed from Base 2.

Fitzsimmons Express Chair

Located at the base of Whistler Mountain between the Whistler and Blackcomb Excalibur gondolas, the high-speed Fitzsimmons Express is an open air quad chairlift with an optional cover. Available for skiers in winter and mountain bikers in summer, the Fitzsimmons Express takes travelers up to Olympic Mid-Station, where mountain bikers access the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. At this point skiers can catch the Garbanzo Express and then the Emerald Express to access the Roundhouse Lodge and Whistler’s alpine skiing.

Magic Chair

The Magic Chair is a 3-seat open air chairlift accessed from the base of Blackcomb in the Upper Village. It’s a slower moving chair, perfect for beginner skiers and snowboarders who wish to try the short, green run Yellow Brick Road.

Ski or ride at the base of Blackcomb Mountain in Whistler's Upper Village. The Magic Zone is the perfect area for families and beginners who are new to skiing or snowboarding. Tickets for the Magic Zone are available online and from Daylodge Guest Relations in the Upper Village. Magic Zone tickets are valid for use on Magic Chair only and cannot be used on any other lifts or gondolas.

Please note children six and under must be accompanied by an adult on a chairlift.

Peak 2 Peak Gondola

The Peak 2 Peak Gondola connects Whistler and Blackcomb mountains on a spectacular ride 436 m (1,430 ft) above the valley floor and Fitzsimmons Creek. The Peak 2 Peak gondola transports skiers between mountains in the winter, and sightseers year round. Each cabin has seats and holds 28 people. The Peak 2 Peak is accessible from the Roundhouse on Whistler, and the Rendezvous Lodge area on Blackcomb.

Whistler Village Gondola

The Whistler Village Gondola is a 9-person, enclosed and seated gondola located at the base of Whistler Mountain. Ride the gondola to Olympic Mid Station to access the Supercarpet and ski learning areas. Or stay on the gondola and continue up to the Roundhouse Lodge, to access Whistler Mountain alpine ski areas and the Peak 2 Peak gondola. Pay parking is available in lots 1 to 3, and free parking in lots 4 and 5, with a short walk to the Whistler Village gondola.

Blackcomb Gondola

Blackcomb gondola delivers guests to the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, adjacent to the Rendezvous Lodge and Christine’s Restaurant, making the Alpine accessible to more guests year-round.
