Widely recognized for its energizing and relaxing effects, the Scandinavian baths experience, also known as hydrotherapy, is associated with many benefits. In addition to cleansing the body, it stimulates blood circulation and the release of endorphins. Occurring in three stages, just a few hours are required to fully enjoy the benefits of hydrotherapy.
The first step of the hydrotherapy experience is to warm the body for approximately 10 to 15 minutes to increase blood flow to the skin and muscles. Choose from the Eucalyptus steam room, wood burning sauna, hot baths or thermal waterfall and feel deep relaxation.
The second step of the Scandinavian bath spa experience includes closing the pores of the skin with a brief (20 to 30 second) but highly beneficial cold rinse in the Nordic waterfalls, cold baths or cold showers.
The final step of the experience is giving yourself a minimum of 15 minutes to relax. Allow your body to feel the great benefits and sensations from doing the hot and cold sequence. Enjoy the changes through the body until it regulates itself back to normal.
