Ancient Cedars Trail

Ancient Cedars Trail is easy to find. Drive north on Highway 99 for about ten kilometres, just past Green Lake; turn left onto Cougar Mountain Road; continue on this road for about 4 kilometres until you see the parking lot and trailhead. The trail is a well-marked 5 kilometre round trip with about 150 metres of elevation gain suitable for hikers of all ages. The Cedar grove is stunning with towering trees, mushrooms of every size in the autumn and even a beautiful waterfall beneath the wooden footbridge. The best time for this trail is between June and October to avoid snow.

Dogs are allowed on the Ancient Cedars Trail.
