Bill Reid Gallery

The Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art is named after Bill Reid (1920 – 1998), the acclaimed Haida master goldsmith, carver, sculptor, writer, spokesman, and one of Canada’s greatest artists. Gallery Highlights include Reid’s bronze masterpiece Mythic Messengers, several of Reid’s works that are featured on the Canadian $20 bill, changing exhibitions of contemporary Aboriginal art of the Northwest Coast, and a full-scale totem pole, carved by James Hart of Haida Gwaii.
