Stawamus Chief
The Stawamus Chief is one of the largest granite monoliths in the world. From Squamish, drive south on Highway 99 and watch for signs on you left. The trail can be accessed from the Stawamus Chief Trailhead or the Shannon Falls Trailhead if you would like to see both. The Stawamus Chief Trail is very steep; however, the first peak is only a 1.5 kilometre hike and offers unbelievable views that are not to be missed.
