Lynn Canyon Park is a free self-guided adventure and a great place to learn about North Vancouver’s eco-system. Although the main attraction is the wood plank suspension bridge, people also enjoy hiking the surrounding boardwalks and trails. Open year-round.

The Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre has informative, interactive displays about the plants and animals of the temperate rainforest and environmental issues. Children can learn about nature and have fun in the Kid’s Exploratorium. There is also a nature-themed giftshop.

If you need a bite to eat before you hit the trails, the Lynn Canyon Cafe serve crepes for breakfast and burgers, hot dogs, pasta and fish and chips for lunch. You’ll find refreshments and treats for the whole family.
