Crippen Regional Park

Trails in Crippen Regional Park provide something for everyone – an easy meander through lush forest, a longer circuit around beautiful Killarney Lake or a steep but rewarding hike to the views at Dorman Point. It’s an easy island getaway to a secret gem in the regional park system.

Killarney Lake Loop Trail circles for 4 km around Killarney Lake, providing lovely views of the forest and the lake. If you're walking from the ferry, add another 5 km to make the trip to and from the lake.

Dorman Point involves a short steep trip to a viewpoint of the ocean and points south. Follow the trail from the Festival Field for about 1.25 km up (and about 130 m elevation gain).

Pit toilets are located at the Snug Cove Picnic Area, near the Terminal Creek Hatchery and at the Killarney Lake Picnic Area.
